Introduction
The Edgecomb Planning Board consists of five members elected for three-year staggered terms, and two appointed alternate members. The Board usually meets twice a month (posted on the website calendar) to consider site plan review applications for new commercial, industrial and institutional uses, for subdivisions applications and for building permits in shoreland. The Planning Board works with the Code Enforcement Officer to implement and enforce the town's land use ordinance.
