- New Member: David Tonry will replace Bob Brown on the committee.
- Haselton Status: The Town Treasurer recommended keeping funds for management, the
$5,000 grant and the Haselton purchase in one account, although the committee should
keep track of each separately. Bob Zak said that the committee can accept donations
before the end of the fiscal year. The Town approved the use of the Woodend fund as a
no-interest loan for up to $50,000 for one year for the purchase of the property. Bob
Brown will schedule a date with the Town Attorney for the closing. The Wiscasset
Newspaper will be asked to cover the story and take photos. Amanda Russell will follow
up with foundation donors and Bob Leone will follow up with individual donors in order
to collect the funds which were pledged. Amanda Russell is looking into the tax
classification to be used for donations.
- Land Acquisition, Boundaries and Roads - Bob Brown
- Schmid Historian: Bob Brown, who was attending his last official meeting as a committee
member, offered his services as Schmid Historian and asked to remain on the mailing
list. Andy Abello suggested that he write a history column for the newsletter twice a
year.

There was a consensus that this should be an annual event. Bob Leone will meet with Jim Beam, Bob Brown and Heidi Gagnon to map out and plan the patrol the week before. Andy Abello and Deb Sondergaard will then find the necessary number of volunteers to help with the patrolling. Deb Sondergaard suggested sending out a press release publicizing the event.

Bob Brown will do the machinery work in the fall, but Bob Leone said he would like to get someone soon to begin the planning.
- Eagle Scout Project: Bob Leone had suggested to Steve Dowdy well-mapping as an Eagle Scout project. A map and specs (height, width, access, location) will be provided to Steve Dowdy. Decisions on capping will be made on an individual basis based on the information gained, as some wells may be used for fire supression.
