CMP announces its 2004 program of tree and roadside work. Property owners have the right to consult with CMP before routine work takes place. Contact the CMP Arborist for your area: John Randall, Brunswick, 721-8071. However, if trees are causing outages or pose a hazard to safety or service reliability, they may have to be trimmed or removed on an emergency basis, with no prior notification. Landowners who object to the use of herbicides on CMP rights-of-way may request a landowner’s maintenance agreement, which means they must agree to maintain these areas to CMP’s specifications. Agreement forms and additional information can be obtained by calling 1-800-972-8600.
