TOWN OF EDGECOMB MINUTES OF THE EDGECOMB UTILITY DISTRICT COMMITTEE
January 2, 2007; 6:30 P.M.

Attended: Joe McSwain, Bruce Cameron, Frank Perkins

Discussion of possibility of Boothbay bringing water up Route 27. If they do, and we do not join the Boothbay Water District, can they charge houses on Route 27 in the Town of Edgecomb? It seems to be the feeling of the Committee that we form a utility district. And think beyond to control of whatever may happen, be it water or sewer.

Next Monday at the Selectmen's meeting we will ask to change the course of this Committee and name it the Edgecomb Utility District. Next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 16, at 6:30 p.m., with Steve Levi of the Maine Rural Water Association
