The meeting was called to order by Bob Crink, Chairman, at 6:30 p.m. Board members present were Bob Crink, Lisa McSwain and Amanda Russell and Alternate Chuck Olney. Erin Cooperrider and Stuart Smith and Alternate Brian Bolduc were absent

1. Review minutes of December 1, 2003:

   As a clarification, the third paragraph under item No. 2 was amended to delete the words, “and the utilities installed.” Amanda Russell moved, Lisa McSwain seconded, to accept the minutes with the clarification. The motion carried.

2. Update on Harrington Subdivision

   Bob Crink reported that he had contacted Mr. Harrington’s mother advising her that a minor change will have to be made to the road association documents and that the road must be in before lots are sold. A letter will also be sent confirming this.

3. Dennis Friedland - Building permit for dock, ramp and float

   Mr. Friedland had not been advised by the builder that a building permit had not been obtained for the construction of the dock, ramp and float. Mr. Friedland therefore submitted an after-the-fact application, sketch and DEP permit for the record. The $150 fee was paid. Lisa McSwain moved, Amanda Russell seconded, to accept and approve Mr. Friedland application. The motion carried.

4. Dennis Anderson, Anderson Horticultural Sales - Board of Appeal Decision

   The Board of Appeals had approved curbcuts for two driveways on Route 1 for Anderson Horticultural Sales on December 3, 2003 as shown on the original site plan. The appropriate documents were signed for the file to indicate this approval

5. Bob Faunce draft of Resource-based Subdivision Developments

   The document was reviewed by the board members; and deletions, changes and additions were made through section C.4. Bob Faunce will be contacted to make the necessary changes and also to rewrite the document so that it will be a stand-alone ordinance and will not reference the existing subdivision ordinance.
